James at the Fair

Just 24 hours before Katherine was born, James and I went to the local
fair in Highland Falls. I took lot of pictures of him, so much so
that my camera battery died the next day while taking pictures of
Katherine’s birth.

May and Craig visited for the Fourth of July and got to see Katherine
for the first time. Here is a picture of them at the parade with her.
Megan comes to visit

Megan stopped by West Point, in her jetsetting tour this summer. It was great to see her and she got to meet Katherine for the first time. Just proves that I need to get a smartphone as she already sent me a picture from the weekend, while I haven’t even downloaded mine from my camera.
Weekend with Momma

Well, my first weekend alone with both James and Katherine (Katrin as James calls her) is almost over. Drew had drill in Kingstons so he has been home at night but spending all day with both kids is very tiring. I can see why our parents always wanted us to go to bed early, so that they could sleep.
I took them to the Pond today but James had a crying fit after the first hour and wanted to come home. Which set Katrin off crying as well. She figures if her brother is crying she should be too, which is odd because she doesn’t cry at all (unlike when James was a baby). Anyways, I finally got both of them down for a nap at the same time. I now understand the horror that is twins (sorry Chelle) but I am just glad to get a couple of minutes free… to do laundry, dishes, update the blog. I am really looking forward to the Wisco vacation so I can give the kids to the grandparents and relax for a while.
Katherine Birth Announcements

Coming soon to a mail box near you, Katherine Wyman’s official birth announcement (in the form of a postcard). At least all of you who I have an address on will get one. They should be delivered here in a couple of days and my goal is to have them sent out before we leave for our Wisco vacation. Otherwise, I will just resort to “hand deliver” on some of them. Here is a sneak peek at the announcement which my sister, Michelle designed for me (my mom and I took the pictures). Enjoy!
